Welcome to Term 2! We have an exciting term ahead as always. Firstly we would like to thank everyone who took part in the K-2 Easter Hat Parade, whether you stayed up late gluing eggs onto a hat, bought a cake, purchased raffle tickets or ALL THREE! Your efforts are appreciated to help make this event so much fun and raise a whopping $4142.60!! These funds will go towards important literacy resources for our K-2 classes.
We have many more fun events coming up this year that our a wonderful way to bring the school community together whilst raising money for the school. We hope you consider getting involved with some of them. Our next P&C meeting will be held on WEDNESDAY 22ND MAY. Please feel free to join us for important school updates over drinks and nibbles.
MOTHERS DAY
This year we really wanted to show the Mums (or Dads, Nans, Carers or Friends) in our community how important they are to us so we have gone all out! We have beautiful native bouquets from a local florist and delicious hand-made huge cookies available for pre-purchase on the link below. Orders are open now and will close on TUESDAY 7 MAY and collection will be Friday 10 May at 3pm. All profits raised will be for our school.
We are super excited to announce our Mothers Day Stall on THURSDAY 9 MAY!! Gifts will be priced at $2/$5/$10 and the selection is amazing. Each class will have the opportunity to purchase a gift for Mothers (and others) during class time. Whilst the stall will accept cash and cards we would recommend pre-purchasing a voucher using the link below to allow the kids to spend on a gift of their choice. Lets celebrate our Mothers (and others) at our wonderful Mothers Day Breakfast held on Friday 10 MAY 7.30 – 9am in the school hall. There will be bacon and egg rolls, sausage sizzles, scones and jam for sale along with that all important coffee van to keep everyone caffeinated!
TRIVIA
You asked and we delivered – this is a date that you cannot miss. The last event was such a huge success and this one is bigger and better! Our next Trivia Night will be FRIDAY 28 JUNE. Starting at 7pm at Kingsford Juniors club.
UNIFORM SHOP
The Uniform Shop is open with all second hand and new items available for sale. All orders that are received during the week will be delivered to your child’s classroom each Friday. The uniform shop is open on Tuesday and Friday from 8.30-9.30am. We always need new volunteers to keep this amazing service operating, so if you can help please complete the class list (coming soon), email the shop below or just pop in and speak to Kylie and Karen.
