The SCPS P&C encourages participation in all our efforts from the school community.
We hold regular cakes stalls, working bees, and BBQ’s to raise money for our students. We also hold discos, movie night and of course Fiesta which is such a great community event.
If you have a particular skill set or something you enjoy then please let us know! We are always looking for volunteers and eager bodies to assist in our fundraising efforts.
Some sub-committees we have that you can get involved in:
- Be a P&C class parent representative
- Help in the uniform shop
- Help out scholastic book club/book fair
- Volunteer as a parent reader
- Help out in costume room
- Join the technology committee
- Join the baker’s club
- Cover books for school library
We also have monthly P&C Meetings which all are welcome to attend. They are on the third Wednesday of each month during school terms, beginning at 7.00 pm and concluding approx. by 8:00pm.
The Principal attends these meetings, often accompanied by a number of staff members. In addition, the Principal meets with the P&C Executive regularly.
There are also ‘Special Topics of Interest’ that are presented by the school or outside parties, so if you have a have a topic or concern then please let us know by emailing scps.pandc@gmail.com
