We’d also love your help in supplying treats for our cake stall. Savoury and sweet treats can be dropped off from 7am on Saturday at the school. No nuts please! Finally we have an amazing Y6 graduation raffle – with prizes of over $2,500 up for grabs. Please share with your family and friends and consider buying a few tickets to help our kids have the best end of year experience as they depart South Coogee. Thank you so much!!!

MOTHER’S DAY STALL
PSA Mothers Day is coming up!
After the lovely feedback last year, we will be holding the fabulous Mother’s Day Stall again next Thursday 8 May. It will be held in school hours and the kids will get to shop with their year from a range of wonderful gifts ranging from $2-10.
We have some great stuff this year, and the kids love to shop independently so it’s a fun event. We will accept cash or card on the day, but if you prefer to ensure the cash doesn’t end up at the canteen, we will be selling prepaid vouchers too. Link below!
You can buy any denominations and the vouchers will be handed to kids at the stall to spend. Please note the gifts will only be available to purchase on the Thursday, so please don’t forget to order a voucher or send in money. If anyone has any spare paper bags from Woolies/Coles etc please drop them to the office for us to use at the stall. Thank you.
In conjunction, we have partnered with If the Florist in Maroubra who will be supplying bouquets to the school on Friday 9th. If you wish to order some flowers you can also do so via the link and they will be available to take home at 3pm Friday.
Thank you for supporting the P&C and we can’t wait to see the kid’s excitement.

MOTHER’S DAY BREAKFAST
Attention Dads and Male Carers – WE-NEED-YOU!
Our Mother’s Day Breakfast is fast approaching. We are looking for volunteers to assist with cooking and servicing on the morning of May 9th. It would be awesome if you could spare some time during the morning or in the lead up to the day to assist with putting smiles on the faces of our beautiful SCPS mums. We run two shifts from 6:30 to 8:00 which includes setup, and 8:00 to 9:30 which includes pack down. Please register your interest in the time that suits you best, via the sign-up link. https://signup.com/go/LfwZUcZ
For those who may not be able to help out on the day, there is plenty to assist with in prep ordering and collecting items prior to the day. There is also a WhatsApp group for the fellas getting involved. Join here https://chat.whatsapp.com/KBU3NLOnoUO4mHyD1cu14e
The breakfast will run from 7.30am-9am, followed by open classrooms from 9.15am – 9.45am
TRIVIA NIGHT
Our Trivia Night (which is rapidly becoming infamous!) is back at our original location of Maroubra Juniors on 30 May. We are blown away by the response this year and we have sold 16 tables so far which is phenomenal. We have only one table of 10 people remaining, plus a handful of single seats. You DO NOT want to miss this one, so get a gang together or join an existing table, this night is so much fun!
Battle of the Decades Trivia 2025 – It’s time to dust off those flapper dresses, slick back that hair, and get ready to groove through the greatest eras of all time! We’re taking you on a wild ride through the Roaring 20s, Rocking 50s, Groovy 60s, Fabulous 70s, and Radical 90s, with questions that will test your knowledge and pit decade against decade. When the formalities are over, there’ll be an opportunity to let your hair down on the dance floor, and show off your charleston, jive, twist, funky chicken or running man to an off the hook mix tape.
Tickets are selling FAST, so secure your table now via this link. https://events.humanitix.com/scps-p-and-c-battle-of-the-decades-trivia-night
Dressing up in era appropriate clothing is encouraged but not essential. Prizes for best dressed!
