Dear Parents and Carers, sorry it has been a while between newsletters but the P&C have been very busy working away behind the scenes.
Firstly a massive thank you to everyone that volunteered for the events in Term 3 and early Term 4 – we have had the Fathers Day stall and Breakfast, Musicale, Book Parade, Grandparent’s Day and the Year 6 led Disco. Funds for Musicale will be channelled back to the music and arts programme as always, the book parade profits go to the library resources, the disco went to Year 6 graduation costs and the rest of the fundraising is going to the $20,000 we donate annually to the schools literacy and numeracy programming. The P&C events make a massive difference to the resources at the school, so we really are thankful for everyone supporting them.
So on that note, we wrap up Term 4 with our Christmas Tree fundraiser and our ever popular major event, the SCPS Twilight Cinema.

We will also need a first aider on site, if anyone can perhaps help with this (Do we have any Doctors, nurses, paramedics or confident qualified first aiders amongst us?) please contact us on scps.pandc@gmail.com. We need someone to be available just in case any first aid is required.

CHRISTMAS TREES!
Christmas is only 50 days away, so it’s time to place your orders for Christmas Trees, Puddings and Cakes. The real Christmas trees are looking great this year, the benefit of many months of rain this winter! Order yours here and collect from the school on the morning of the 7th December. A percentage of the profits will go back to the school, so support us instead of the major retailers! The trees are popular, and generally sell out by mid November so please do not delay.

P&C MEETING
Our final P&C meeting for 2025 will be held at the Coogee Legion on the balcony from 6.30pm on the 3 December. We will be giving thanks for the P&Cs contribution for 2025, and looking forward to 2026.
In 2026 we will sadly farewell a few of our long standing P&C Executive Committee – Helen Randall (President), Leane Economou (Vice President), Jenny Connell (Assistant Treasurer), Jodie Steele (Ex President, Fiesta Queen) and Simon Griffin (Ex Secretary). This means there is a great chance for a brand new committee to form in 2026, and we would LOVE to hear from any one interested in getting involved. Please reach out to scps.pandc@gmail.com for any info, or Melissa Bramich and Helen Randall are also happy to hear from you directly.
We look forward to wrapping up 2025 with a bang, see you at Twilight!
