Hi everyone,

Another jam packed newsletter full of information… enjoy!

P&C Meeting – Wednesday 2nd September

The next P&C meeting is Wednesday 2nd September and will continue to be via Zoom. The link will be sent via email to you from your Class Parent Rep, as well as in the P&C Facebook Group Event Page.

As per previous meetings, please submit any General Business items or questions in advance to scps.pandc@gmail.com. The cut off time for these submissions will be midday Monday 31st August.

Hope to see you all there!

Remember, you can always email or call the school if you have specific questions about your individual circumstances on sthcoogee-p.school@det.nsw.edu.au or 9349 4000.

The minutes from the meeting last week are now on the P&C Website Here.

Fundraising in Term 3

Our Bee Wrappy fundraiser is doing so well, with final orders and money to be in by tomorrow Monday 31st August. Please ensure you get these in so we can promptly make the order to the supplier. Bee Wrappy has anticipated a 5-7 day time frame for dispatch, then post time. We will sort and deliver the packs to your nominated childs classroom as soon as possible. If anyone is able to help with this process, please let us know via email scps.pandc@gmail.com

Unfortunately due to tight time frames we will not be running the cookie dough fundraiser this term. We will look at the schedule for next term and see if we can fit it in.

Our yearly Silver Coin Challenge will be running in Week’s 8 and 9 of this term. This year the Y6’ers will be running the fundraiser, with proceeds going towards the Y6 Graduation. More details to come this week… but start looking under your couch cushions now. A prize will go to the highest raising junior and senior class at the end of the promotion!

Uniform News

Unfortunately we had to cancel our 2nd hand uniform sale due to NSW Department of Education Covid restrictions. Please see the below procedure for ordering 2nd hand uniforms via Munch Monitor.

*** Please remember that 2nd hand uniforms have varying degrees of wear. The uniform shop has a policy in place about the condition of donated items and if they can be sold, but we all have our own standards. 2nd hand uniforms items cannot be inspected before purchase, so if you are uncomfortable with this or feel that your standards may be slightly higher than most, please consider buying a new item **

Ordering second hand uniform items:

On an interim basis, please use the attached Google form to request any second hand items from the SCPS uniform shop.

https://forms.gle/bAPMUv8chC2CZKzk9

Requests will be reviewed each week and fulfilled if stock is available.  We will advise you if we are able to fulfill your order including the required payment which will need to be made via MunchMonitor.  All items paid for via MunchMonitor by COB each Thursday will be delivered to your child’s classroom each Friday.

Please do not make payments for second hand items in advance i.e. unless you have received confirmation of your order via the uniform shop.

If your order cannot be fulfilled at the time of your request you will be asked if you would like your request to be kept on a waiting list and fulfilled as stock is donated.

Ordering new uniform items:

The current process remains unchanged.  Please continue to order new items via MunchMonitor.  Orders placed by COB each Thursday will be delivered to your child’s classroom each Friday (i.e. the following day).

Ordering new girls uniforms:

We are currently holding limited stock of new girls winter uniforms in the SCPS uniform shop. Please email ‪uniformshopscps@gmail.com if you wish to purchase a new winter girls uniform with the quantity and size you require and we will respond to you ASAP.

Please note that from next term (Term 4) students will be in summer uniforms. We will be stocking new girls summer uniforms in the uniform shop and will let you know more information once they are available for purchase. We appreciate your support and patience as we make the transition to bringing the girls uniforms into the uniform shop.

If you have any questions regarding the uniform shop please email ‪uniformshopscps@gmail.com. We will endeavour to respond within 24hrs.
