Greetings from the P&C, term is now well underway and we hope all of the kids are settling into their new classes.
P&C MEETING AND AGM – Wednesday 8th March
Our next P&C meeting is the AGM, where we will be voting in a new Executive Committee for 2023. If anyone would like further information on the positions available please have a look at the website, or email us at scpc.pandc@gmail.com
The AGM will be held in person at the school library, and also via zoom. We encourage as many people as possible to come and join us at the school, it’s great to meet people face to face. To gain voting rights for the 2023 P&C, you will need to bring a gold coin donation, or if joining virtually please donate via the uniform shop. Ensure you add your name in the notes!
Any questions or new agenda items need to be sent through to scps.pandc@gmail.com by Friday 3rd March. We typically don’t address new business at the meeting itself.

FUNDRAISING AND WISH LISTS
We are currently in the process of organising our ‘wish list’ that we are fundraising for in 2023. If you have any suggestions please email them to scps.pandc@gmail.com. The following items are currently on the list:
Decodable Home Readers – K-2
Decodable Guided Readers – K-2
Extension of the outdoor playground at front of school
30 additional chromebooks ($20,500 was donated in 2022, we still require additional technology)
Readers for Stage 2 and 3
Maths resources K-6
FUNDRAISING WORKSHOP
The Exec Committee will be organising a fundraising workshop to discuss any new ideas to fundraise this year. If you have any expertise or would like to simply be involved please let us know. Details of the meeting will be advised shortly.
YEAR 6 FUNDRAISING
The Election BBQ will be the first Year 6 Fundraiser, on the 25 March. Please come and support the kids by voting at SCPS, grabbing a sausage sizzle and sweet treat! We will also be running a raffle, if anyone has any prizes they could donate I would love to hear from you! Again the email is scpc.pandc@gmail.com

CLASS LISTS
Class lists have now closed and the details will be sent to class parents in the following week to distribute.
UNIFORM SHOP and BACK TO SCHOOL VOUCHERS
The Uniform Shop is open and running, with all second hand and new items available for sale. All orders that are received during the week will be delivered to your child’s classroom each Friday. The Uniform Shop has now been approved to accept the Back to School Vouchers and we hope to advise how to use them in the coming week.
