And just like that…..we are nearly half way through the year! Last day of term is Friday 30 June, and Term 3 starts TUESDAY 18th July. Don’t forget the pupil free day!!
Winter Snowball Disco
Last week we held our first major fundraiser for the year, the Winter Snowball Disco. It was a fabulous snowy night, and I think I can safely say the kids had a blast.
What an amazing night, that couldn’t have happened without so many amazing volunteers. Thanks to everyone involved…
The Disco Committee: Melissa Bramich, Leane Economou, Liz Russell, Jacqui Busby, Jodie Steele, Jenny Connell and Helen Randall who organised such a fantastic event and put in so many hours of work.
ALL of the AMAZING volunteers on the night… cooking sausages, selling and serving on BBQ, glow sticks, drinks, cakes.. on the ticket desk and door security, decorating and the clean up crew. These events can’t happen without you guys and we really appreciate all of your efforts. Too many people to mention you all, but you know who you are!
Balloon decorator extraordinaire Jacey Marie, check out Baby Bash Balloons here, there were some beautiful balloon creations throughout the disco.
And last but not least to our amazing bakers and snowflake makers. The hall looked beautiful and the baked goods were delicious as always.
Funds raised are being donated to Yr 3-6 literacy resources. Currently expenses are being finalised, but it looks like the total figure will be in excess of $4000! An amazing result.
