Hi all
A new term, and a whole new set of rules for the school community! We’re now allowed on site for assemblies, events and other activities, which is amazing. So with that said, let’s get into all the cool stuff that’s happening this term!

- 100% Juice poppers – $2
Alec and his fabulous Coffee Cart will also be there, serving up hot drinks all morning!

An RSVP means that we can order enough food BUT not have wasted food. Please ensure you RSVP to assist us in this money and environment saving initiative. When you RSVP, please do so for each person in attendance, and what they would like to eat so we can order accordingly. You will pay on the day for your food, this RSVP is to give an indication only of numbers.
This is a cashless event, so please bring your cards for any drinks or food purchase.
** There is no in-class school activity unfortunately this year due to the current COVID restrictions **

Colour Explosion Fun Run – Saturday 29th May
Woo hoo! It’s time to start fundraising! We are so excited to announce our 2021 Colour Explosion Fun Run!!!
When is the Colour Explosion School Fun Run? We will be hosting our Colour Explosion School Fun Run on Saturday 29 May 2021, from 2:00pm to 4:00pm at Snape Park, Maroubra. Make sure students bring a WHITE shirt to wear during the Fun Run. They will be covered in non-toxic, biodegradable colour powder from head to toe!
Is the powder safe? The non-toxic colour powder is made of high-quality corn starch and permitted food colours, so it’s safe for skin and eyes. Students with asthma are advised to be careful in their decision to participate.
How does my child fundraise? Fundraising for our P&C Wish List is easy – your child can accept donations online and choose fundraising goals by creating a cybersafe fundraising profile at myprofilepage.com.au. If you would prefer to collect cash donations with a sponsorship book please email scps.pandc@gmail.com with your child’s name and class and we will send one to you. Fundraising closes 28/05/21.
How do I order my child’s incentive prizes? You can order your child’s prizes online at myprofilepage.com.au between 23/04/21 and 28/05/21. Order one prize based on the total amount of dollars raised, or mix and match smaller prizes.
Who can participate? This event is for current SCPS students only. It is not a public event.
Soooo, let’s get fundraising! Ask your friends and family, post on Facebook… we have a goal of profiting $25,000 and will update weekly. Good luck!!!

Event Thanks…
A huge thanks to everyone who helped with the K-2 Morning Tea after the Easter Hat Parade in Term One. On a very wet day, we all managed to have some fun, and finally catch up with each other on school grounds. Big thanks to Marina Alexiou, Steph Brewer and all the other staff who made it happen, and the Easter Bunny himself who made the kids day (David Gray!)

The Y3-6 Welcome BBQ last week was headed up by Brad Mitchell, and we thank him and all the helpers on the day put on a really great event. It was so nice to see so many families and teachers mingling for the afternoon and into the evening!

The Cookie Dough fundraiser was a MASSIVE success, with huge thanks to Jenny Connell who led the event. We raised $1,879.50 in total, selling 537 tubs of cookie dough! Thanks also to the team who help sort and distribute all those tubs on the last day of term. Legends.

Until next time,
Your P&C
