Leane and Liz are leading the committee to ensure a fantastic event for our Year 6 leavers. Looking forward to an amazing event to celebrate the kids’ time at SCPS. Thanks so much!

Each year we organise a fantastic end of year celebration for our Year 6 children leaving for high school. This year’s will be held on December 15th and is shaping up to be fantastic. A great venue, photo booth, DJ, etc plus a great yearbook to capture their South Coogee public school memories.
To keep the ticket price for the event low, the parents and year 6 students usually participate in some fundraising activities throughout the year. This year we have the unique opportunity to utilise the Election Day BBQ on May 21. This event often raises around $3000!! A huge amount raised with just one event rather than 4 or 5
So if we can get around 20 parent and student volunteers to give us 2-3 hours of time on that Saturday (between 7:30am- 3:00pm), you could end up not only halving the price of your kids ticket, but you could help ensure more of their friends will be able to attend the celebration.
We need to let the school know if we have enough volunteers to be able to host the event by this Thursday 12th May. So if you could please send your availability times and how many of you from your family can help by Thursday to Nikki on 0401629415 or nikkigoldsmithcwp@gmail.com that would be amazing.

MOTHER’S DAY BREAKFAST
Thank you for everyone who assisted with putting on the Mother’s Day Breakfast, special should out to Troy and Liam for leading the event and all the guys who helped out on the day. Also thanks to all the Mums for attending and supporting the school. We raised a fantastic $2290 before expenses.
