CALENDAR
It goes without saying, if you are experiencing any sickness/symptoms please do not come to school! All visitors are encouraged to wear a mask inside the school buildings, and to do a RAT test prior to attending.

100 Days of Kindy Celebration – assembly and morning tea for kindy parents only
- Wednesday 3rd August
Please join us for the Education Week Celebrations from 8.30am.
8.30am-9am – Intermediate band on the grasslands
9.10am-9.35am – Open classrooms, check out your child’s classroom and books.
9.45am-10.45am – Leadership Assembly
11am-11.25am – Picnic with your child

Disco in the school grounds, Year 6 fundraiser. All kids welcome to attend and have a boogie.

Last day of Term 3!
Other dates to note… Working Bee will be held in the next few weeks. All volunteers welcome and needed! Communication to follow when date is finalised.
Twilight Cinema will be held on Friday 21 October. This will be the major fundraiser for the year, and is great fun. Open to SCPS families, friends and the wider community. More details to follow.

League star coach is Dale Jackson at djackson@nrl.com.au for further enquiries.
ART CLUB –
Monday afternoons – year 3
Wednesday afternoons – years 1 & 2 (there are 2 year 5 kids in the group as well and we could take more seniors)
The kids come to the art room straight after school and classes start at 3.15pm and finish at 5pm.

OUTDOOR KITCHEN UPDATE
Outdoor kitchen program update
Hi Parents and Carers of SCPS as you are aware we are finally implementing the wonderful Outdoor Kitchen Program initiative (delayed to COVID).
A program designed to provide sustainable, active and inclusive learning environment – ‘garden to table’.
Please contact your friendly P&C if you wish to participate or offer any support/ feedback in reinvigorating this outdoor kitchen program, promoting healthy sustainable lifestyle for our future leaders
Standby for further updates as we are currently aligning trades to commence this exciting program.
ENROLMENTS FOR 2023
Enrolments for 2023 have commenced, the school is looking at building on capacity and will be hosting an open day for all on 5th August (in addition to the kindy orientation) to show off our fabulous school.
