We kick off our update today with news that parents and carers will be let back on school grounds from Monday 15th March. The school will be sending out comms next week about the change. One step closer to that ‘new normal’ we keep hearing about, which is fantastic!
P&C Meeting – Wednesday 10th March 2021
The 2021 SCPS P&C AGM and General Meeting is a hybrid event that will be held in-person with an online Zoom option.
To be eligible to vote at the AGM and for any P&C issue throughout the year you MUST be a paid up P&C Member. You can pay the $1 membership fee at the meeting itself with cash, or before the meeting via the online option on the uniform shop website:
ALL P&C Executive and Class Parent Reps must become Financial members of the P&C.

Class Lists/Class Parent Reps
A huge thank you to all the new Class Parents Reps for 2021. Your assistance in helping your class and the broader school community is much appreciated!
All 2021 Class Parent Reps have been emailed the class lists, so if you filled out the online form please keep an eye out for comms. If you did not fill out the form and would like to be on the email list, please contact email@example.com and we will forward your details to the appropriate person/s.
If you are in 5/6B or 5/6H, please consider helping your fellow class parents and volunteer for this highly rewarding role. We only have one Class Parent Rep in these classes at the moment, so it’s always nice to share the load.
Fundraising – Cookie Dough
Welcome to South Coogee P&C’s first fundraising event for 2021!
We are teaming up with Billy G’s Gourmet Cookie Dough, an Australian family owned and operated business, who provide 1kg tubs of cookie dough which comes in 10 delicious flavours (even one for the dog)! Check out www.cookiedough.com.au/products for the ingredients. The tubs make approx. 40 large cookies and sell for $17 (approx. $0.43 per cookie) with $3.50 from every tub coming back to the school.
Start Date 6 March 2021 and Final Orders Due 19 March 2021

Incentive Prizes: Students who sell 1 tub or more are entitled to an incentive prize for their efforts. But why not aim higher? You have the option to set your own fundraising goal – the more tubs you sell the more prizes your child will receive!
Delivery: Cookie dough tubs will be delivered to the school on the last day of term (Thursday 2nd April), you must be able to pick them up on this day – just in time for school holidays!
Policies & Guidelines
We have updated both the P&C Code of Conduct and the Social Media Guidelines for 2021 and By-Laws. These will be voted on at the P&C Meeting, so please have a read and submit any feedback by 5pm Monday 8th March. These documents are based on the P&C Federation templates and guidelines.
